
FRANK HERRMANN
Frank was born
in Berlin in 1933 and the family
moved to London in September of the same year.
After attending photographic school in Zurich, Switzerland from 1951-54, he
did his National Service as a photographer in the RAF until 1957, in Ballykelly
Northern Ireland. He assisted Oluf Nissen before going freelance in 1959.
He joined the Sunday Times on a retained basis in 1962 and became a full-time
staff member in 1980. He left the Sunday Times in 1987 to return to freelance
work.
